The earth my friends, has not been nice
She's lashed out her fury and more than twice
The ground has quaked and the wind has blown
Nature is telling us that we have not grown
With lack of respect we pursue the need
To be better than others with anger and greed
This holiday season I ask this of you
Take time to think about what to do
To turn the tide of hatred and fear
Bring back the values once held so dear
Loving one another isn't a seasonal thing
Find faith in yourself and what it will bring
Is a sense of belonging and unity
Peace in the world with all of us free.
