YSTAD FYR

Moving east from Smygehuk, I came into Ystad (ee stahd) a town about the same size as Trelleborg. And of course, very seaport oriented. I had to look around for this one. I parked near where I thought it might be and started walking when I finally saw it. Odd, I thought, it looks like they didn't know what to do with this thing so they just stuck it somewhere for the time being.
There was this other very cool looking tower that should have been a lighthouse. It had the appearance of something very old. I finally found someone outside that I asked what this was. His English was just a little better than my Swedish, so I barely gathered that it was a water tower. Ancient.
