These shots of the lighthouse at Playa del Carmen were taken from the ferry as we approached from Cozumel. I had little battery juice and could only spare a couple of shots. I'll be better prepared next time I go over there.
As you can see it is right along the beach and has an external staircase winding up around it. I'll definitely try to get closer next time, maybe get a picture of the door.
